Personal Information We Collect
When you visit the Site, we automatically collect certain information about your device, including your web browser, IP address, time zone, and some of the cookies that are installed on your device. As you browse the Site, we also collect information about the individual web pages or products that you view, which websites or search terms referred you to the Site, and information about how you interact with the Site. We refer to this automatically collected information as “Device Information.”
We collect Device Information using the following technologies:
- Cookies are data files that are placed on your device or computer and often include an anonymous unique identifier. For more information about cookies, and how to disable cookies, visit http://www.allaboutcookies.org.
- Log files track actions occurring on the Site and collect data including your IP address, browser type, Internet service provider, referring/exit pages, and date/time stamps.
- Web beacons, tags, and pixels are electronic files used to record information about how you browse the Site.
Additionally, when you make an enquiry through the Site, we collect certain information from you, including the name that you type in and your email address in order for us to reply. We refer to this information as “Enquiry Information.”
When you have booked a trip we collect information from you, including your name, email address, diving certification level & experience, and sometimes phone numbers, address, date of birth, and/or your height, weight & shoe size and/or any special dietary preferences or allergies. We refer to this information as “Diver Information.”
When we talk about “Personal Information” in this Privacy Policy, we are talking about Device Information, Enquiry Information and Diver Information (any information that identifies you as a person).
How Do We Use Your Personal Information?
- Enquiries: To communicate with you about the trip you are interested in and respond to any questions you may have.
- Marketing (with your preferences/consent): To provide you with information or advertising relating to our products or services.
- Site safety & improvement: We use Device Information to help screen for potential risk and fraud (in particular, your IP address), to improve and optimise our Site (for example, by generating analytics about how our customers browse and interact with the Site), to assess the success of our marketing/advertising campaigns, and to track and fix errors.
- Feedback: We may contact you for feedback about your trip and our services.
Sharing Your Personal Information
We share your Personal Information with third parties to help us use your Personal Information, as described above. Examples include (but are not limited to):
- Google Analytics – understanding how customers use the Site. Google’s privacy policy: https://www.google.com/intl/en/policies/privacy/. Opt-out: https://tools.google.com/dlpage/gaoptout.

Finally, we may also share your Personal Information to comply with applicable laws and regulations, to respond to a subpoena, search warrant or other lawful request for information we receive, or to otherwise protect our rights.
Behavioural Advertising
As described above, we use your Personal Information to provide you with targeted advertisements or marketing communications we believe may be of interest to you. This website uses the Google Ads/AdWords remarketing service to advertise on third-party websites (including Google) to previous visitors to our site. It could mean that we advertise to previous visitors who haven’t completed a task on our site (for example, using the contact form to make an enquiry). This could be in the form of an advertisement on the Google search results page, or a site in the Google Display Network. Third-party vendors, including Google, use cookies to serve ads based on someone’s past visits to the Site. Any data collected will be used in accordance with our policy and Google’s policy.
Customer Match & Personalised Advertising
In addition to remarketing, we may use data collected from your interactions with our Site — including purchases, enquiries, or other conversions — to create customer lists for targeted advertising (known as “Customer Match”) on Google platforms. This allows us to show personalised ads to existing or potential customers across Google Search, Shopping, Gmail, YouTube, and the Google Display Network.
We share this information with Google in compliance with their Customer Match policies and only use it where permitted by law. Where required (for example in the UK/EEA), we obtain your consent before using your information for personalised advertising. Google acts as our “processor” for such data under the Google Ads Data Processing Terms. You can manage your ad personalisation settings in your Google account at https://adssettings.google.com.

You may withdraw consent at any time via your browser/cookie settings or the links above.
