A Review of MV Koon9 Liveaboard

Did a 3 day 2 nights living aboard dive trip.
Boat: Boat was in pretty good condition. Rooms were good enough, shower had hot water, pretty dope window view of the sea outside. All the gear tanks etc. were placed in an organized fashion, ready to go. The staff was insanely organized, whole boat running like a well-oiled machine.
Staff/Service: Great staff, service, divemaster (My man F was a cave diver!). All the gear is prepared for you for every dive, you can basically strap on your gear straightaway even if you don't remember what they're called/how they operate (I forgot how to put together my stuff, been a while). Lunch and dinner changes everyday it seems (had japanese one night lol). Unlimited cereal and non-alc drinks. A can of beer's only 80 baht. After every dive, they provide a dry towel (seperate from the towel for showering). Nice roof(?) where you can smoke and chill. The boat was barely rocking, if at all. Dope room with a switch and multiple controllers, board games, beanbags, movie/tv watching.
Diving experience: Our divemaster was able to adjust and give us some tips for various levels (some of my friends were beginners and some rescue divers etc.) Divemaster gives a brief before each dive, with a picture book of maps, where the dive is, types of marine life to expect, terrain etc. There was a second diver that had a nice camera and massive carbon fibre lights, took some really nice photos to share with us.

For my first diving trip on a boat, this set the bar pretty damn high. Worth every penny, wish my trip was longer.
