Bunmee D Overview
This boat is not running trips for the 2019-2020 season. The boat began some trips but then moved to Phuket until further notice. The text below was used before it moved, and is being kept in preparation for Bunmee D's return in October 2020. Thank you for your patience.
New for the 2019-20 diving season, Bunmee D is under new ownership and fresh from extensive renovations. In contrast to other Richelieu Rock & Similan day trip boats, Bunmee D focusses on comfort more than speed. The boat is very large, and has plenty of space for guests to sit down at tables to listen to the pre-dive briefing and to enjoy a delicious breakfast. When Bunmee D arrives at Richelieu Rock, some guests are transferred to its large sister boat; Bunmee 3. This enables daytrip guests even more space on board take advantage of the huge dive deck and then lunch and relaxing time on board.
Bunmee D is not a speedboat, meaning that everyone can easily walk around safely, sit at proper tables, sunbathe on the upper deck, and even adjust their dive gear while the boat is on the move. To make up for lost time, Bunmee D sails from Kura Buri Pier, more than an hour’s drive from Khao Lak hotels. These journeys are done in a luxury minivan and offered for free to guests.
Prices are very competitive, and because it visits Richelieu Rock every day, it’s a very popular choice.

Bunmee D Itinerary
Every day Bunmee D sails from Kura Buri Pier, more than an hour north of Khao Lak. Guests are transported by luxury minivan from Khao Lak hotels, and then the crossing from Kura Buri to Richelieu Rock is shorter, and done in comfort.
Bunmee D Transfer Details
The Bunmee team collect guests from local hotels in the Khao Lak area for free early in the morning. The journey to the pier is more than one hour, but done in a luxury minivan. At the end of each day the same transfers are available.

We ask for 50% deposit to secure your space, and the balance plus any rental equipment and national park fees are paid when you check in at the dive centre the day before your trip. Bunmee offer very reasonable cancellation terms, if given enough prior notice.
